Bradford Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Programme – our vision

Working in partnership with people with lived experience and colleagues from across all sectors and organisations to ensure Bradford is both trauma informed and responsive.

The programme has five workstreams and with each one we aspire to have a clear focus on early intervention, prevention and resilience. To do this we want to invest in our workforce and create a safe and secure workplace culture so that we have a workforce that is equipped to adequately support people who have been affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences.

The workstreams are overseen by ATR Partnership Board and include:

  1. Workforce Development and Wellbeing
  2. Community and Families
  3. Early Years
  4. Trauma-Informed Services
  5. Trauma-Informed Schools and Education Settings

If you would like to be a part of any of our workstreams please contact Pakeezah.Zahoor@bradford.gov.uk
